Intermittent Lane Closures Nightly on U.S. 301 in Both Directions Between Wood Street and 10th Street, Sun., July 25 to Fri., July 30
SARASOTA, FL (July 23, 2010) – Weather permitting, the outside lane of U.S. 301 (Washington Boulevard) in both directions will be closed at different points between Wood Street and 10th Street after 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 25 through Friday, July 30 for installing new streetlight foundations and sidewalk replacement.
The exact location of the lane closure will change as the work progresses along U.S. 301 from north of Wood Street to 10th Street.
Motorists are reminded to exercise extra caution while driving through the U.S. 301 Downtown Sarasota construction zone which includes the stretches of U.S. 301 from Wood Street to Myrtle Street and U.S. 41 from Osprey Avenue to the U.S. 41/U.S. 301 intersection. The project is an initiative of the Florida Department of Transportation.
